Role Summary
- This is a 12-month job for someone who recently finished university.
- You will work on flood risk with Natural Resources Wales.
- You will help make maps and models to learn about floods in Wales.
- You will work with experts and learn new skills.
Key Tasks
- Make and update flood maps and flood models.
- Use special computer tools to study floods and places.
- Help with tasks about flood risks in new buildings or developments.
- Work with different teams to understand flood risks better.
Skills And Experience
- You must have a degree in IT, Environmental Science, Geography or similar.
- You should be ready to learn about flood maps and models.
- Good at working with data and computer tools.
- Able to work as part of a team and ask for help when needed.
Pay And Hours
- This is a full-time job for 12 months.
- You will have a training and development plan.
Location And Workplace
- You will be based at a Natural Resources Wales office.
- You can work partly from home (hybrid working).
- Meetings or training will be planned ahead.
- Interviews will be on Microsoft Teams online.
