Role Summary
- You will be an engineer in the Asset Performance team.
- You will help protect people and the environment from floods in North Wales.
- You will use data and facts to help decide how to keep flood defenses working well.
- You will work with other teams and partners to find long-term solutions.
Key Tasks
- Check and analyse data about flood defense assets.
- Help plan where to spend money on flood defenses.
- Visit sites and work with construction teams.
- Attend meetings with partners and stakeholders.
- Follow rules that protect nature and support future generations.
Skills And Experience
- You need to have a full UK driving licence.
- You should be good at using data and making clear decisions.
- You must be able to visit different sites and travel to meetings.
- You should be able to work well with others.
Pay And Hours
- The job offers flexible working hours.
- You will agree on a hybrid working pattern (some days at the office and some at home).
- Regular meetings or training will be planned in advance.
Location And Workplace
- You will be based at one of the Natural Resources Wales (NRW) offices.
- You will travel to flood sites and partner meetings often.
