Role Summary
- You will work outside in wild parts of Wales.
- Your job is to help fix peatlands.
- Peatlands help with climate, animals, and water.
- You will take projects from start to finish.
Key Tasks
- Plan and manage peatland projects.
- Make maps and surveys of the land.
- Give advice to landowners and partners.
- Watch how peatlands improve and write reports.
- Work with contractors and manage budgets.
Skills And Experience
- You must be able to work outside in all weather.
- You need a full driving licence to travel to remote places.
- You should work well with a team.
- You will use computers for meetings and reports.
Pay And Hours
- The job offers flexible working hours.
- You will be based in a Natural Resources Wales office.
- You will sometimes work from home.
- You must attend some meetings in person.
Location And Workplace
- You will work mainly in Wales.
- You will visit many wild and remote places.
- Travel to different offices is needed.
- Being outdoors in wet and muddy ground is normal.
