Role Summary
- You will help fix peatlands, a special kind of wetland.
- This job takes place outside in wild places in Wales.
- Peatlands help fight climate change and protect nature.
- You will work with a team to make a real difference.
Key Tasks
- Plan and carry out peatland restoration projects.
- Write plans and get permissions for work.
- Manage budgets and oversee contractors.
- Map and survey land to know what needs fixing.
- Give advice to landowners and partners.
- Help with monitoring and sharing results.
Skills And Experience
- You must like working outside in all weather.
- You need to be able to drive and have a full driving licence.
- You should be able to organize projects well.
- Good communication skills are important.
Pay And Hours
- You will have flexible working options.
- The contract is based in an NRW office. NRW means Natural Resources Wales.
- You may work some days from home with agreement.
Location And Workplace
- You will travel to remote places across Wales.
- Some work is from NRW offices.
- You will often work outside in muddy and wet places.
